Mr. Rohan Naik completed his under graduation from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), where he was not only inclined towards academics, but also in co-curricular activities. He completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru. He is enrolled as an Advocate under the rolls of the Karnataka State Bar Council registered under the Bar Council of India.

Having been part of the Legal Aid and Awareness Committee for 3 years, he has participated in various legal aid campus conducted across the rural areas of Karnataka and has associated himself with other events of KSLSA.

He has also been a part of a workshop “Data Sharing for Good Health and Well-Being: India’s Way Forward to Achieving Sustainable Development Goal #3” conducted by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in association with NLSIU, Université Virtuelle du Sénégal and Mackenzie University of Brazil. He has also participated in interactions with Prof. Mark Tushnet, Willian Nelson Cromwell Professor Harvard Law School on the topic of “Constitutional Design and Amendment Rules”, as a representative of NLSIU.

He has also submitted a dissertation titled “Reformative and Punitive Theories of Punishment in India: A Critical Analysis (With Special Reference to Bengaluru Prison Institutions)”, an empirical study on the reformation of prisoners in the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail, Bengaluru along with minor publications.
