Moot Court Committee
The Ramaiah College of Law Moot Court Committee works to foster a vibrant and dynamic mooting culture in the College by upholding high standards of excellence in the field of mooting. We facilitate, regulate and foster the mooting and allied activities of the College in a just and fair manner so as to mould and sharpen the oral advocacy, research and legal drafting skills of the students. The students are encouraged to demonstrate their interest in advocacy and competence as an advocate to prospective employers. The committee works closely with the students to aid them to become excellent mooters and thereby, professionally-competent and socially-committed lawyers.
The Committee selects the students for representing the College in various national and international Moot Court Competitions through the Intra Moot Competition conducted every year and provide them with sufficient support to participate in various competitions.

SURANA & SURANA AND DR. M.S. RAMAIAH COLLEGE OF LAW NATIONAL TORT LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION & JUDGMENT WRITING COMPETITION
The Ramaiah College of Law has been playing a significant role in developing a robust mooting culture among the law students. The Ramaiah College of Law in collaboration with the Surana & Surana International Attorneys hosts the National Tort Law Moot Court Competition and the Judgment Writing Competition since 2018. In the academic initiatives taken up by the leading law firm of the Country, Ramaiah College of Law hosts and administers the Moot Court Competition as a platform for the law students to develop skills in oral and written advocacy as well as legal research. Until 2017, Ramaiah College of Law used to organize M S Ramaiah Memorial National Moot Court Competition.
