ADMISSION POLICY 2025-2026

The admission to Ramaiah College of Law follows a transparent, methodical and merit-based process which has enabled us in achieving excellence in legal education.

  • Candidates who apply for the Five-Year Integrated B.A., LL. B / B.Com., LL.B / BBA., LL. B Course, are required to fill the “Online Application Form”.
  • The registration to various programmes offered by Ramaiah College of Law will commence from 03-03-2025. Candidates should apply through the college website.
  • For online submission of application form, the applicant is required to pay the Registration fee of Rs. 1,200/- (Rupees One Thousand Two Hundred) [Note: The Registration fee of Rs. 1200/- is non- refundable]
  • Only candidates who have submitted the “Application Form for Registration” will be eligible to participate in the admission process.
  • The admission process is as follows:
  • 1. An Admission Committee (AC) comprising of the Principal, Faculty Co-Ordinator’s and Admission Coordinator will supervise and approve the admission, through a selection process.
  • 2. A candidate belonging to the General Category with minimum of 45% marks and above (in case of SC/ST 40%) at the 10+2 level, will be eligible for the selection process. The students who have appeared for 10+2 and are awaiting results may also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of the qualifying exam, with marks as stated above.
  • 3. After submission of the duly filled Application Form for Registration, the applicants have to appear for the RCL Admission Test. The test will be held online. The dates and time of the test will be intimated to the candidates subsequently. After the test, the candidate has to go through a telephonic / personal interview with the RCL Admission Team.
  • 4. The students who are successful in the interview will be asked to fill the Application Form for Admission.
  • 5. The Registration number allotted at the time of Registration should be mentioned at the time of interview and in every transaction including the fee Payment transaction, and also mention the specific Course for which admission is sought.
  • 6. The annual fees applicable for the academic year 2025 —2026 is as detailed below.

Karnataka Students Rs.2,20,000.00
Non-Karnataka Students Rs. 2,40,000.00
  • 7. The candidates have to pay an advance fee of Rs. 50,000/- within 03 Days from the date of declaration of Admission Result to book the seat. The tuition fee as stated in para 6 has to be paid after deducting the booking amount of Rs. 50,000/-.
  • 8. A fee concession of 5% will be given for SC/ST students from Karnataka for the first year only.
  • 9. Scholarship: In order to encourage meritorious students a Scholarship scheme has been introduced for the Academic Year 2025-26. This will be given as an Institutional Scholarship. The Scholarship is given in the form of a Fee Concession which is Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) for the students who have secured 90% marks and above in the aggregate in the qualifying Examination [XII OR II PUC]. This Fee Concession is restricted to the first-year fee only.
  • 10. While making an admission to the Course, the reservation policy of the Government of Karnataka governing admissions will be adhered to.
  • 11. The decision of the Management regarding admission of a candidate shall be final.
  • 12. Please note that the admission to the college is only provisional and subject to the Candidate fulfilling all ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA and other conditions that may be prescribed by the admission notification of the Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi.
  • 13. Any disputes relating to fee reimbursement policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courtsat Bangalore only.
Admission procedures for International / OCR Students
  • Applicants are requested to apply online through the college website to fill the application form. Applicants are requested to provide valid e-mail id. Further communication will be done through this e-mail id only till the admission process is over. More details regarding online application can be found in www.msrcl.org
