Dr. Roopa T.S

Dr. Roopa T.S working as Assistant Professor in Department of Management has 20 years of rich teaching experience to her credit . She has completed M.com from Mount Carmel College , Bangalore university in the year 1998 , M.phil from Madurai kamaraj university in the yr. 2008 & MBA from Annamalai university in the yr. 2010. She has also been awarded Doctorate in Management from Himalayan university , Arunachal Pradesh for her thesis titled “ Management of NPAs with reference to commercial Banks & co-operative Banks – A Comparative Study “ in the yr. 2018.

Her areas of expertise include Financial Management , Cost Management , Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting , Corporate Accounting , Principles & Practice of Management , Business Management , Marketing Management ,Business Communication & Organisational Behaviour.

She has presented papers & participated in many National & International seminars & Conferences. To name a few : Service Quality Evaluation Banking , A Study on flow of FDI in Banking , Recent trends in Financial statement Analysis & so on. Recently, her article titled ‘’ Impact of NPAs on Financial Performance of Banks ‘’ was Published in Journal Studies in Indian Place names listed in UGC CARE with ISSN no. 2394-3114 .

She has guided around 70 students of BBA , Bangalore university regarding their Project work. She has Participated in the industrial visits & accompanied students of BBA to various industries such as coco-cola , Parle – G , Sugar industry, Mandya etc.
