She has been associated with Ramaiah College of Law as Assistant Professor (Law) since February 2016. The subjects she handles include Intellectual Property Rights, International Trade Law, Interpretation of Statutes, Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems and Legal Methods. Apart from academic endeavours at RCL, she is also the Coordinator of Ramaiah Intellectual Property Rights set up in association with the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology. She is engaged in research and consultation in the area of Geographical Indications and rural development. She is also involved in other consultations, legal aid and extension activities in the area of Intellectual Property Rights for governmental and non-governmental agencies.
She is also member of various Internal Committee constituted under The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 for various organisations. She has also coordinated the activities of the RCL Moot Court Society and has judged several National and International Moot Court and ADR Competitions. She has recently presented a paper on “Exclusion of Medical Methods from Patent Eligibility and Access to Healthcare Innovations: A Comprehensive Study on India, Brazil, and South Africa” at the Third IP & Innovation Researchers of Asia Conference held by IPIRA, WIPO Academy, WTO and others.
