UNPACKING ADR 2022 – OREINTATION PROGRAM – ADR CENTRE
The Alternative Dispute Resolution centre of Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore, on 17.01.2022, organized ‘ UNPACKING 2022’ , an Orientation Program to all the students of the institution, to delve deeper into various facets of ADR, through interactive sessions spread across for Two Weeks ( 25.1.2022 – 3.2.2022).
The main objective of this program was to serve as primer for the introduction of the students to ADR and for future competitions. Accordingly, the following agenda was formulated for the two weeks training sessions ->
- 25.1.2022 – Negotiation Problem de-brief and mock
- 27.1.2022 – Interactive Session and understanding the role of the mediator
- 1.2.2022 – Arbitration problem debrief
- 3.2.2022 – Client Counseling de-brief and interactive demo.
The programme was organized from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m through online mode via Zoom. Around 110 participants attended the programme. The student convener of ADR Centre Mr. Sudarshan B.K. and Student Co-Convener of ADR Centre Ms. Vaishnavi Naik along with the other committee members engaged the sessions. Faculty Conveners Mrs. Rajashree K and Ms. Ayesha Rao were present on the occasion.
