Prajatantra- 2022 Grand Finale

Prajatantra, an annual event organized by the Praja Foundation and the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), was held as a part of G20 India National Youth Conclave at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. The event brought together over 1300+ students from different fields and backgrounds from around 21 states and 5 union territories to participate in various competitions related to urban governance, finance, and politics.

The Conclave was inaugurated by Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs in the Government of India. The valedictory was held in the presence of Shri Amitabh Kant, G20 Sherpa. Among the participants were Anupriya Chauhan, Navaneeth Joshi, Prateek R, and Raksha Rajesh, who competed in different categories.

Anupriya Chauhan participated in the Mayor competition till semifinals, while Navaneeth Joshi participated in the Municipal Finance Policy Presentation Competition. Prateek R and Raksha Rajesh participated in the Quiz competition respectively.Navaneeth Joshi secured 3rd place in the finals and was awarded by Mr. Shombi Sharp, UN Resident Coordinator, India.
