Elocution Competition (On the occasion of Human Rights Day)

The Centre for Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law organised an Elocution Competition on December 10, 2021, on the occasion of Human Rights Day. The theme for the Competition was “Human Rights- Responses at the International Level” and was open to the students of the first semester of the under graduate courses.

The Competition received a good response from the students who are absolutely new to the concept legal studies. A total of 22 students participated in the Competition and the speakers spoke well on various issues and concerns related to Human Rights. The following students are the winners of the competition:

  • First Prize (Cash prize of Rs. 1,500)- Yash Pandit (B.B.A LL.B- section B)
  • Second Prize (Cash Prize of Rs. 1,000) – Aakasrh (B.B.A LL.B- section A)
  • Third Prize (Cash Prize of Rs. 750)- Rijusmita Sarma (B.A. LL.B- section B)
