Cadets Shine Bright
BUO TANVI MANOHAR of II Year B.Com., LL.B., BUO KARTHIK KUTTAPA of II Year B.B.A., LL.B. and SGT SAI DRUTHI H of II Year B.Com., LL.B., represented the Karnataka & Goa Directorate at the ALL INDIA THAL SAINIK CAMP 2023 (‘AITSC 2023’) held at DG NCC CANT., New Delhi, from September 19, 2023, to September 30, 2023.
BUO Tanvi Manohar and Sgt Sai Druthi H participated in the Map Reading Competition and secured the BRONZE medal at the National level. They were among the 5 cadets selected to represent the State of Karnataka at the national level, where 85 cadets from 17 directorates participated in the Map Reading Competition. They also secured the SILVER medal at the Inter-Group Competition held in Mysuru. BUO Tanvi Manohar was the Map Reading Senior for the Senior Wing. Furthermore, BUO Tanvi Manohar and Sgt Sai Druthi H played a pivotal role in the line area competition for which the Karnataka & Goa Directorate secured 1st Place and received a trophy.
BUO Karthik Kuttapa represented the Karnataka & Goa Directorate in the Firing Competition - Snap Shooting category. He was among the top 3 cadets selected in the Snap Shooting category for the entire State of Karnataka. He withstood numerous selections & rigorous training and got shortlisted among the 60 best firers from the State of Karnataka. The firing team of Karnataka & Goa Directorate was positioned 3rd among 17 Directorates at the National level.
BUO Karthik Kuttapa was the Overall Directorate Senior for the AITSC 2023 Camp and has performed his duties and responsibilities with utmost sincerity. He has played a vital role in the Directorate becoming the overall champions.
For the first time in history, the KARNATAKA & GOA DIRECTORATE bagged the Overall Champions in both Boys (SD) and Girls (SW) categories at the AITSC 2023.BUO TANVI MANOHAR, BUO KARTHIK KUTTAPA and SGT SAI DRUTHI H are also the first cadets from NCC 1/B COY of Ramaiah College of Law to attend the ALL INDIA THAL SAINIK CAMP.
