Two Day workshop on Empirical Research for Social Sciences
Background:
Research is the systematic and objective process of gathering, recording and analysing data for taking appropriate & meaningful decisions. It connotes patient study and scientific investment, wherein the researcher takes a more careful look at data to discover all that could be known more deeply about the subject under study. To keep pace with the recent advancement and to have a grip over the statistical analysis of data, the two day Empirical research workshop is being organised.
Objective:
- To expose the participants to various modalities of empirical research
- To equip the participants with various tools of data analysis
- To ensure effective result analysis and comprehend reporting
Approach:
The workshop is to provide hands-on- experience to the participants in analysis of data using (Statistical package for social sciences) SPSS along with the understanding the research design, selecting the adequate sampling techniques, and data analysis.
Expected Outcome:
At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Understanding of Research Concepts & Methodology.
- Choose the right statistical technique for different research questions.
- Analyse data using basic and advance statistical techniques in Statistical Software.
- Interpret analysis of output tables and report findings for publishing.
