Two Day National Seminar on Teaching Methodology of Commercial Law in the Context of Social Justice & Curriculum Drafting Competition

The college organized a Two Day National Seminar on Teaching Methodology of Commercial Law in the Context of Social Justice & Curriculum Drafting Competition on 8th & 9th September, 2018. The objective of the seminar was to bring together academicians and practitioners to deliberate on how to uphold the constitutional principles of social justice in the teaching of commercial law. RCL was fortunate to have 13 eminent persons from di?erent ?eld as resource persons, across the two days.

Hon'ble Mr. Justice P. Vishwanatha Shetty, Lokayukta, Karnataka Government was the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony. Dr. Subhash Chandra Roy, CNLU, Patna, Dr. Sairam Bhat, Professor of Law, NLSIU, Bangalore were the Guests of Honour. Sri. G.Ramachandra, Chief of Finance, GEF, Dr. Manjusree Mishra, Principal, RCL and faculty members were also present.

Padma Shri Prof. (Dr.) N.R. Madhava Menon, Founder Director, M K Nambiar Academy for Continuing Legal Education, Bar Council of Kerala was the Chairman of the Final Panel Session & also the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session. Prof. (Dr.) Rose Verghese, Vice- Chancellor, NUALS, Kochi, Dr. Shashikala Gurpur, Dean, Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Prof. (Dr.) Rajan Verghese, Dean, School of Law & Governance, Jain University, Dr. Subhash Chandra Roy, CNLU, Patna, Dr. Manjusree Mishra, Principal, RCL and other faculty members were present for the valedictory session. Two 'Best Paper Presenters' and Four 'Best Teams' of Curriculum Drafting Competition were declared and awarded the cash prize.
