OUTREACH PROGRAM- MALLESHWARAM
an outreach activity on January 24, 2024, in collaboration with student volunteers to assess the accessibility of public spaces along Sampige Road and Margosa Road, Malleshwaram, Bangalore. Led by faculty coordinator Mr. Badal Chatterjee, the initiative aimed to gather data for the Yes to Access project. Six teams of students surveyed various establishments and documented accessibility issues. The initiative provided practical learning opportunities for students, including understanding disability laws, analyzing real-world scenarios, and advocating for social justice. The collected data will contribute to creating an application promoting accessible public spaces.
