Mentoring programme for faculty members on teaching methods & professionalism at workplace by Prof. (Dr.) Rose Varghese & Prof. (Dr.) V Shyam Kishore

Prof. (Dr.) Rose Varghese, The Director (Academics), & Prof. (Dr.) V Shyam Kishore, Principal In- charge, Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru conducted the Mentoring Programme for faculty members on the Teaching Methods and Professionalism at work place on September 10, 2021.

In a session on teaching methods, the Director emphasised on the need to adopt diverse teaching methods such as a case study, role play, flip classroom, cooperative teaching etc. and also, urged the faculty members to conduct the moot court, group discussion, debate and mediation sessions in the classrooms so as to make the classroom more lively and interactive. The session was very informative and refreshed the faculty members. This session was followed by a session on ‘Professionalism at workplace’, where the Director deliberated on the key elements of professionalism and workplace etiquette and the need to maintain the effective interpersonal relations for the success of the institution.

Prof. (Dr.) V Shyam Kishore, Principal In- charge also addressed the faculty members on the enhancement of professionalism at the work place and on the new perspectives on teaching methods.
