Dr. Omprakash

He completed his Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology securing First Class with Distinction. He Completed Three years LL.B from Seshadripuram Law College,securing First Rank and Three Gold Medals, & Cash Prize from Bangalore University, Bangalore. He was awarded Justice B. Vasudeva Murthy Gold Medal for securing Highest Marks in Hindu Law B.A (Law), Pradhana Shiromani Nyapathi Madhava Rao Gold Medal for securing Highest Marks in B.A (Law). He was awarded with Prof. T. Shivshankar Gold Medal for securing Highest Marks in LL.B (Three Year Course) in aggregate.

He completed his Master’s in Law from University Law College, Bangalore securing First Rank. He was awarded with Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in the area of Constitutional Law on the research topic “Impact of Anti-defection Law on Democratic Institutions in India” – A Critical study from Alliance University Bangalore in February 2021. He has participated as Resource person, published about ten articles in various journals and has presented papers in various conferences. He has about Thirteen Years experience in teaching Law subjects. He has keen interest in the area of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Clinical Legal Education.
