1st National RCL Online Law Quiz Competition - ‘INVICTUS 2021’

The first edition of National RCL Online Law Quiz Competition- ‘Invictus 2021’ organised by the ‘Centre for Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law and Refugee Law’, Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru was held on January 26, 2021 and saw enthusiastic participation from students across India. The 1st National RCL Online Law Quiz Competition- ‘Invictus 2021’, gave a platform to the law students across our nation to compete, learn and in the process, expand the boundaries of their legal knowledge. It offered an unmatched quizzing experience wherein the traditional classroom learning along with practical knowledge of the students was tested.

The competition was open to all law students pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree from any University/Affiliated College/Institution in India. Fifty- five students from various law colleges/ universities across the country participated in the event.

Shubanshu Das of Aligarh Muslim University, Mallapuram, Kerala gave a stellar performance and emerged as the winner of the Competition. The winner was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- and Certificate of Merit. Pushpinder Kaur from Rayat College of Law, Ropar, Punjab raised a formidable challenge to the other winners and finished with the second position in the Competition and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/- and Certificate of Merit. Sanchita from Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University secured the third position in the Competition and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2,000/- and Certificate of Merit.

In addition to this, the students who secured the next five positions were awarded certificates of merit. Yashwant Nethaji N T of KLE Society’s Law College, Bengaluru came fourth in the Competition. Shweta Bhattacharya of Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar secured the fifth position. Kartikay Mishra of School of Law, Presidency University, Bengaluru was awarded the sixth position in the Competition. Shivam Bhattacharya of Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar came seventh in the Competition. Ekta Sehra of Jaipur National Law University finished in the eighth position.
